5 YEAR POST-DOC RESEARCH CONTRACT in PORTUGAL : It is now open, until de 2nd May, one position for a 5 year contract, with possibility of extension for another 5 years for a candidate with a PhD in Geology/Geophysics and at least 3 years post-doc experience. The candidate should have a publication record of at least 1 paper per year in SCI journals, in the past 3 (or 5 years), as author or co-author. The successful
candidate will work together with me and my group in our Marine Science multidisciplinary Associated Laboratory (CESAM - http://www.cesam.ua.pt/), in Aveiro, Portugal. The contract does not involve teaching. The successful candidate will carry out research on the structure and evolution of continental margins, in general, and cold seeps in particular, integrating geological and geophysical data. Previous experience in geophysical data
processing and interpretation, research in ocean margins and participation in scientific cruises are conditions of preference. All the information is available on
