The Max Planck Society and the Weizmann Institute of Science have recently agreed on developing a collaborative effort in the field of integrative Archaeology and Anthropology. The Max Planck-Weizmann Joint Center, directed by the two of us, will consist of two research tracks. One track will focus on bone and/or tooth biology, development or biomechanics in an evolutionary perspective and will be based in Leipzig, Germany, near the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology.
