Professor of Palaeoclimatology and Archaeology. University of Reading - Department of Archaeology. This appointment is full-time, permanent and starts January 2012 (negotiable). Salary is negotiable.
We require an outstanding researcher with a clear vision for the future to develop research at the interface between past climate change and society. We are particularly interested in applicants with a strong record of integrating palaeoclimatic data and archaeological evidence. Your international research reputation will be in a relevant area of palaeoclimatology, such as past climate modelling, climate proxy analysis, or event-based climate change.
You will have: proven and continuing ability to secure significant external research funding publications in leading scientific journals the ability to work within and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
